Robin Bradshaw here, I have been involved in karting since 1972. I came on with CKI in 1976 as a mechanic and have been at home there, since. My driving days ended in 1986, but I have been active in engine, chassis, and parts development since.

Helpful Cam Hints:
  • Always check cam profile + EZ spin at .000 valve lash. THis is the proper procedure at technical inspections.
  • Because stock cams are not symetrical, always check centerlines at 0.50 inches from each side of the highest lobe. The point between these 2 readings will give you the centerline.
  • Our opening and closing points are actual starting points, this helps insure cam is timed properly.
  • Clean protective finish off cam before installing.
